Aunt Bessie believed that everything should be fresh, homemade and yet come out of a jar. She had everything in jars, she loved jars. Ginger, jams, a bottle of what could easily be a bunch of leeches. Everything placed just out of reach. And its not like she had to put it there, I wouldn't want to be near most of that stuff.
