I chose this one because I liked the collection of adorable trucks. Each one with an advertisement of some product that was so unpopular that no one held onto any of its packaging.

Also what's nice is we get a glimpse of what life was like with a car back in the 1920's, in the winter. Where there really was no glass on windows, and snow chains haven't quite caught on yet. But you can see some on the wheels, they look like a bike lock.

And if you were on foot, good luck... With no traffic guidance, cobblestone roads you couldn't see, snow everywhere, and manure, it was probably horrible.

This location is almost intact. The buildings for the most part are all still there, minus the awning. The large space where the cars are, is now a small park. The El train is long gone, and a few buildings are as well.
