Original Title: Grand Central Station
Location 89 E 42nd St, New York, NY
This is the original Grand Central Station. It about a 100 years ago or so, before they rebuilt it much larger after a train accident occurred. They rebuilt this station in 1903-13, the current station is about 15 times the size.
But imagine what it was like back then. It doesn't look like there was much heat, it looks to be Winter right now. Everyone has hats, jackets and gloves on, so it must be cold there. There is no light coming from the skylights, so its either night, evening, or very cloudy. All they can rely on are the lights that are everywhere.
Nice long curved benches looked comfortable, everyone waiting to get on the train. A newspaper seller in the back is making money today, everyone seems to have the paper. Some people look like they are traveling far.
My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...
