Back during the time of the Civil War, you had to get medicine from a person that made it themselves. Odd mixtures of ingredients, random amounts were measured, often rolled into a pill, made into a powders or applied as a cream. If these cures didn't fix you, that filthy saw will come in handy to remove the part that's bothering you.
