Location: Nashville Municipal Airport, Nashville, Tennessee
This is the Vultee Aircraft assembly line, assembling the v72 dive bomber, at the final stages right before painting. That yellow color is primer, Zinc Chromate, its applied before its assembled, then they rivet over that. The planes had a closed cockpit that held two people, had a fixed gun and a flexible version for the rear cockpit.
