I'm attracted to busy scenes for some reason. Maybe its because I like to explore an image, hard to know why. I liked that you can recognize the scene as a train station, but then there were all those horses and wagons. It lended itself to the wild west, especially with all those saloon fronted buildings, which were all selling booze.
There were many horses, so much in fact, that all that brown became distracting. Combine the brown dirt, with the brown building (it was originally going to be tan), it would have been hard to look at. So instead I choose green and tan for the building with red for contrast. I have scene train stations this color.
The trains, surprised me, I was planning on green for the, and was worried that it would conflict with the building, but they are actually blue. I found that almost all the cars of this line had a blue tone to them. They were definitely dark.
I'm still not sure why there was so much booze to choose from.
