Location: Albion River, Little River, CA
When I researched this image, it showed up under a number of sites, each one had a different description, message and even year. One of them seemed to be much more informative and said the engine was a Baldwin 2-4-2T, which I assume is accurate. But I don't know a thing about locomotives. When I looked up that model, I did find engines that sort of looked like this one. But I think this one was older than the models I saw. This one had pinstripes and I'm pretty sure, more brass.
Those engines all did seem to be greenish, so mine is greenish. But because it didn't match any of the images I found, and it did look older, I went with red, because I like red wheels.
I'm still not sure why the engine is in the middle like that. Seems like it would be really hard to see that way. And I can't ima...
