Description
Chicago, IL - Navy Pier, a 3,300 foot long pier built way back in 1916. It had many uses, often municipal, except during the war, where they used it for docking ships. It's a place where commercial and residential sectors can get together. Today it's both a small amusement park, and a mall. There are several museums as well. The Ferris wheel you see today is about half the size as is it was when it first came out. They call it Navy Pier, to honor those in the Navy.

I love downtown Chicago. I don't get down there as much as I would love to. If you've not been, do go. I am not a big city person myself but I do love Michigan Ave, AKA the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier and the Museums. Nice picture, it captures the very essence of the city itself.

Super-duper excellent. Love the machined look and feel of this Chicago image. Really nice post processing. Liked.
